Experience our city's rich cultural diversity during this series, sponsored by Worthington Interfaith Neighbors. Sisters Lynn Manivanh and Nouane Souksavath will describe their experiences leaving Laos in 1979 following the communist takeover of the country. After two years spent in a refugee camp in Thailand, they came to the United States, where they were raised by their mother and grandmother and supported by their strong Buddhist faith.
